GLENN: THE HEALER
glenn gangano is a proud member of the filipino-american community and lgbtqi+ community. he was born in the Philippines and came to san francisco when he was 4.
the filipino word for massage is “hilot”. hilot is the art and science of the ancient filipino healing traditions that are grounded on the concept of balance among the physical elements along with the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person. glenn continues his ancestral traditions.
his grandmother (ináng) was a healer.
